Slow Feeder Bowls

Do not let the dog photos on the packaging deter you from trying these toys out with your cats.

Cats are quite capable of using these puzzles only they do so in a different way. Dogs lick out these bowls with their tongues where cats scoop the food out with their paws.

These objects are not too terribly difficult however, each different colored bowl provides a different maze/puzzle challenge. The interior portions of the maze are a bit more out of reach and increase the challenge for the cats.

These posts are handcrafted and locally made by Fundamentally Feline and feature both a sisal post and a sisal base for the cat that prefers to scratch horizontally. This post stands 32″ tall and is stable so your cats can really throw their weight into them and meet both horizontal and vertical scratching preferences simultaneously with a base that measures 18×18 inches. Made of real wood they are heavy and will not topple over.

They are available in a variety of colors to match your decor, scratching posts should never be an eyesore! These display proudly in one’s living room.

**Scratching post recover service is available for locals only.

Drop off your post at Paws Whiskers and Claws and we will contact you when the recover is complete. There are no color choices on the recovering service, we use a neutral or as similar to the original color as possible.

Greenie’s Smart Bites

We refer to these treats as the healthy version of "Temptations."

Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and apparently they are delicious!

These make a great training reward, you can use to spike a food puzzle to motivate foraging behavior and they can even be used as a medicating tool!

The Best Litter Box

This style of litter box provides the function of a hooded box without the hood. It is clear so that the cat can see who is approaching, but keeps the mess inside, making it easier maintenance for the humans! Most commercially available litter boxes are MUCH too small.

Cats do not eliminate in cave like environments. They are a species that is both predator and prey. Elimination is their most vulnerable moment and they must feel safe using their box or they will find another place to go that is safe!

Pill Pockets

These treats have built-in pouches to easily hide pills and ensure your cat takes their medication. These all-natural treats are a healthier alternative to using human foods, because they have fewer calories and less fat and sodium. Plus, they're made with real chicken and natural salmon proteins for a great taste. Make pill-giving more enjoyable for both you and your cat.

We recommend getting your cat acquainted with pill pockets early in life, BEFORE they ever need medicine, so they learn to trust these treats and look forward to them. Then, the day you need to actually put the pill inside they will hopefully scarf them down.

*Administering Tip!

Do not touch the outside of the pill pocket with the fingers that have been manipulating or breaking the pills. If you get the crumbs or scent of the pill on the outside of the pill pocket your cat will likely smell that and reject it. Instead, hold the pill pocket in one hand and the pill in the other hand. Place pill inside the pocket and squeeze close and immediately offer to your cat.

When a cat feels comfortable in their environment, they rub their cheeks against objects leaving a facial pheromone.  Feliway is a synthetic copy of the feline facial pheromone used by cats to mark their territory as safe and secure.
